VISA FRUITS extensive, modern facilities cover
an area of more than 17,000m2, of which 4,500 m2 are
set aside for cold storage with total capacity exceeding 33,000m3,
enabling up to 8,000 tons of fruit to be stored in perfect
condition.
VISA FRUITS' cold storage rooms are equipped
with the patented ULO system ensuring that the highest quality
levels are maintained with the fruit retaining all its sensory
qualities.
In the 50s, when VISA FRUITS started operating,
fruit was handled manually. In 1970, extensive mechanization
took place culminating in 1985 with the installation of latest-generation
technological and electronic systems.
From that moment on, the company has continually
renewed the technology it uses becoming, in the process, a
pioneer in fruit-processing innovation. New technology is
phased in in extensive programmes and focuses in particular
on the selection of fruit by colour and size.
Every day, the company's fleet of vehicles
distributes its products to the markets in perfect condition,
thus guaranteeing an optimal service.
