VISA FRUITS markets a wide variety of selected apple and pear varieties in the domestic and European markets.

Since it was founded, VISA FRUITS has built up a strong position in the domestic market, particularly in Catalonia and Andalusia. After many years of specialization, the company began to branch out into the international market in 2000 establishing contacts in the French and Portuguese markets.

The company markets its fruit under 2 trademarks - VISA FRUITS and POMAGOL & PERAGOL - depending on the specific features of and demand in the target market.

Two distribution centres have been created from the central distribution plant situated in Golmés, in the heart of Pla d'Urgell: the Golmés plant and the Mercabarna plant (Barcelona) which came into service in 1972 with the objective of directly overseeing distribution from one of the largest logistical centres in Europe.

MERCABARNA
Distribution of pears and apples from the Golmés fruit and vegetable centre (Lleida), along with a number of other products from all over Spain and the EU and out-of-season products ensuring, in the process, quality, variety and service for our clients. As far as other products are concerned, we also supply peaches, nectarines, apricots, cherries, pomegranates and grapes.
